Banquet FAQs

  • Q:  We're interested in having an event at Schussler's, can we find out what dates you have available?
  • A:  Yes. We don't post available dates here as they change every day with inquiries. Give us a call or use the Contact Us form on the website.

  • Q:  How do we book your banquet room(s)?
  • A:  Over the phone, in person, or via e-mail all work fine.  A few questions about the event, size, estimated guests, etc., and we can help you with just about anything you need.

  • Q:  Do you require contracts for events?
  • A:  Yes.  We require contracts for events of 50 or more whether it be Weddings, corporate or personal. The contracts are as much an advantage to the client as to Schussler's. They guarantee the date and specific room as well as prices and types of services.

  • Q:  Is there a fee to rent the banquet rooms?
  • A: Yes.  We require a $200 deposit for Weddings upon signature of contract.  The deposit is credited onto your bill at the end of your event.  There is also a Hall Rental Fee for any event which wishes to use our space but does not require any Food or Beverage service.  The fee for room usage for non-wedding, no service events is dependent on size, day of week, and time required.


  • Q:  Once we book a date, how does the process work?
  • A:  The timeline is generally as follows...1.We begin with standard event planning information, estimates on your guests, initial thoughts on menu, etc.  2.  We have any necessary planning meetings in advance of your event.  3.  Approximately two weeks before your event we finalize the menu if not done so already.  4.  One week prior to your event we request your final guest count.

  • Q:  What about planning for weddings?
  • A: For Wedding Receptions we will have you (and your family if you wish) in to Schussler's for the initial Reception Planning meeting approximately 5 to 6 months in advance. Our experienced management will guide you through all the necessary questions and details which will cover everything from the beginning of the day until the end of the evening. This meeting takes approximately 1 to 1-1/2 hours. We may then meet again in the future or finish the planning by phone or email.
    • For other events planning can be done in person, by email, phone or fax. We will send you our detailed "Event Planner Questionnaire" which will guide you through answering all the necessary steps of information required for Schussler's to make your event a total success.
    • As always in any case it is best to start the planning process for any event as early as possible. Many times you will need to do research, and need time to think about and plan out some of the important details for your event.
